Service level

AI on Artur.Work is run by one person. It is offered on a best-effort basis, and this page says what that means rather than leaving you to guess.

What we do not promise

  • No uptime percentage. We would not be able to honour one, and a number nobody can honour is worth less than no number.
  • No service credits or automatic compensation for an outage.
  • No guaranteed response time to a message, though in practice it is usually the same day.
  • No promise that a particular model stays available. Providers retire models, sometimes at short notice, and when one goes we take it out of the catalogue.

What we do

  • Publish what actually happened. Status is generated from real request outcomes, not from a banner somebody remembers to update.
  • Retry a request when the failure looks temporary, so one hiccup at a provider is not your error.
  • Not bill you for work that failed. A failed request is recorded at zero.
  • Show you the provider and the estimated price before you send, so an outage at one provider is something you can route around yourself.
  • Keep your data according to your own retention setting, and let you take a copy of all of it at any time.

When a provider is the problem

Most of what can go wrong is an upstream provider being slow, refusing a request or retiring a model. We can retry and we can tell you which provider failed, but we cannot fix their side, and their outage is not something we can compensate you for.

Do not build on this where it would hurt

This is not a service to put behind something safety-critical, medical, legal or financial where a wrong or missing answer would do real damage. If you need guaranteed availability, buy it from a provider that sells it.

If something is broken

Check Status first - if the failures are visible there, they are known. Otherwise write to [email protected] and say what you sent and what happened.
