This page is public so the policy can be read without an account, by people and by the services we sign in with. To request a backup or the removal, log in: both actions need the account's owner.
You delete your account yourself, on this page once you are signed in. Nobody has to approve it and nobody reviews it first.
You are signed out immediately and the deletion runs within a few minutes. It cannot be undone, so take a backup first if you want to keep any of it - it is on this page too.
Your invoices, payments and the record of what each request cost are kept, together with the name and e-mail address they were issued to. We hold those on the basis of a legal obligation and our legitimate interest, not on your consent: they are the business's accounting records, an audit has to be able to trace a sale to a person, and a refund cannot be paid to a record that no longer says whose it is.
The account itself is closed rather than erased. The password, the session token, the social logins and the chat connections are all removed, so there is no way back into it, and it cannot be signed into or used again.
Any credit left on the account stays on it and cannot be spent. If you think it should come back to you, write to us - that is a conversation to have, not something we settle by deleting the number.
You do not have to close the account to stop us keeping things. Set a retention window instead - including keeping nothing at all - and everything older than it is deleted automatically. See What we keep, and for how long.
Write to [email protected] from the address the account uses and ask for it to be deleted. We may have to ask you something that confirms the account is yours before we do it - that is what stops somebody else deleting your account for you.
For anything about the confidentiality of your data and its deletion, write to [email protected]. The privacy policy describes what we store and why; the terms of use cover what the providers receive.
